Liability/Insurance
It is strongly recommended that participants take out insurance to cover loss (including registration fees) incurred in case of cancellation, medical expenses and damage to or loss of personal affects.
Group Registrations:
Registering a group of 3 or more attendees? A group registration portal is now available! This allows you to register, view and manage multiple registrations. This is an ideal tool for organisations who intend to register multiple staff.
Types of group registrations are below:
Full Conference Registration
Includes all conference sessions, all catering breaks, a ticket to the welcome reception, official conference handbook and free conference APP.
Day Registration
Includes attendance of the entire nominated day, official conference handbook, catering on the nominated day and free conference APP.
Shared Registrations
If you are sharing a registration with a colleague/s you will be given a generic badge for your organisation. Each colleague will need to collect and return the badge from the registration desk each day. A sign in and out form will be required to be completed. One conference handbook and one conference app login will be supplied.
Organisation Registration Rates
- Sexual Health Conference / HIV&AIDS Conference only ($1400 early bird / $1500 standard)
- Joint Conference ($2800 early bird / $3000 standard)
By purchasing this registration you will be able to be registered as a company, not as an individual. The registration can be shared between staff members from the 1 organisation, with a maximum of 5 people on 1 pass. Enabling one person at any one time to attend conference sessions or events. Each registrant will be required to sign in and out with the name badge, onsite at the conference.
Note: Organisations who would like to share registration passes between colleagues, please refer to the organisation group registration rate. We will not allow single registrations to be shared between delegates.

Community Workers
To be eligible for this rate you must be employed by a not-for-profit community organisation, work for a community-based organisation or direct action group.

Student
The reduced student rate only applies to full-time study students. Please provide a photocopy of your student ID to conference@ashm.org.au.
ASHM Members
ASHM member conference registration discounts are available for registrants of the Australasian HIV&AIDS Conference 2019 and the Australasian Sexual Health Conference 2019. Full Financial Members of ASHM and Affiliates (employees and members of a body corporate Sustaining Member) are entitled to the rates listed above.
ASHM Financial Member
An ASHM member who has paid their membership renewal fee for the current year.
ASHM Affiliate Member
ASHM Organisational Sustaining members who have their members join ASHM as affiliate members.
If you register under an ASHM member category and are not a member of ASHM, your registration will be amended to the relevant non-member category and the difference in fees will be payable by you, the delegate, within 2 weeks of notification of the change.

Non Sponsoring Industry Rates
This category includes any pharmaceutical organisation who are NOT sponsoring the conference in any capacity.
Media Registration
Accredited journalists may attend the conference for free. To apply for media registration you need to:
- Apply for and receive media accreditation
- Complete the registration process
Who is eligible for media accreditation?
Representatives from the following media may apply for media credentials:
- general-circulation newspapers, magazines, or medical publications
- broadcast news media
- community newsletters
Please note that individuals, agents or contractors providing coverage for or being sponsored by industry may not register as media.
What does media registration include?
Free registration to the conference which includes any inclusive social functions. Any auxiliary events that delegates are to pay is to be paid by media representatives as well.
How to apply?
To be accredited, journalists should email conference@ashm.org.au with the following:
A letter from their editor, producer, or news director on letterhead with signature OR or a copy of the publication's masthead with the reporter's name listed;
A sample of one recent article or news report;
A letter of assignment (for freelance journalists only) on letterhead with signature;
The Conference may request additional materials if needed to establish the appropriateness of a media outlet or journalist for accreditation. Journalists who meet the press criteria outlined above will be accredited on a space-available basis.
